What happened to Eldridge Academy and Killing Part? I got some bad news...and good news!

Life wise, things are busy. I have a full-time job that doesn’t leave much time for writing, but I try to write when I have the time and inspiration to do so. I do most of my reading on the commute to and from work and sometimes right before bed.

Now on to my stories! This is the first, but not the last post of it's kind, since I tendency to start things, but never finish 😅 (but fingers crossed that one day I will see my vision through till the end).

Edridge Academy

This is no more! As I reworked the characters and plot, I ultimately decided to toss some concepts into other stories that have been brewing in the back of my mind.

I’ll delete all of my old Eldridge Academy (EA) posts, but I don't what leave you guys with nothing! It’s really embarrassing to show others my unfinished work, but I will share it for those interested. I've put a gdrive link below with 3 pdfs in it: the 5 chapters I wrote, info about sports in EA, and presentation about “Elegy for the Enchanted,” the new story I came up with after reworking the original idea entirely (and yes, I drew the character portraits myself!). I never got around to writing anything concrete for it, though. The link won’t be up forever, so grab the last remnants of Eldridge Academy while you can!

Additionally, here's some info about me: I always start out writing chronologically then my drafts get less linear as I focus in on the parts I'm really excited to write, while planning to fill in the gaps later. After all, the goal of my first drafts is just to get words on the page!

So keep this in mind if you read these chapters and think, how did we get here? This is nonsensical! 😂

Killing Part

If anyone’s wondering about my little story about the boyband - it isn’t dead yet. If I’ll continue it as it is or rework it into something else, who knows. Only time will tell. I’ve been thinking about adding more crime and even vampires to spice up the setting for me lol

A Song for Serpents

This is the main thing I’m working on now! A post with further details is coming. Since I’d like to publish it (traditionally or self-published has yet to be decided), I won’t share much of the actual text.

In the mean time, I do want to write a serial on the side with very short chapters (around 600ish words or less). Maybe it’ll be killing part, maybe it’ll be something else! but if I decide to do it, I’ll make a follow-up post about it.
